Viera

Appearances:

Viera are a race split into three differing sub-species, effecting the appearances of their furs and little more. They are split into the dark furred, the light furred, and the 'Hume' sub-species. The latter is named as such due to a past tribe mating with Hume to create a race of half-breeds. Their most defining feature however is that every Viera possesses large rabbit ears standing tall from their heads, drooping only when the Viera reaches old age, allowing a heightened sense of hearing, and bearing eyes capable of processing data at a faster rate than most other races. As a race of forest dwellers, the Viera are all lean and athletic due to rapid metabolisms, and likewise dress in earthy tones, with little metal besides jewellery.

Bio:

Dwelling in the forests of Kabutan along side Miqu'te, the two share many traits that bond the groups. The Viera in particular have always been natural hunters despite consisting of mostly floral diets and little meats, and have a near supernatural sense of nature around them making them excellent natural medicine doctors. Over generations this very ability has granted the Viera an exceptionally long life, over three times as long as the Hume.

Personal Class:

As natural hunters, strong enough Viera can adapt outsider knowledge in to their hunting weaponary, and have developed a weapon called an Arrow-Cannon, a small arm mounted crossbow, inscribed with a glyph to fire magical arrows when triggered.
