Zilart

Appearances:

An offshoot from the Hume race, they are near identical to the Hume with only the most minor of differences. From a distance, only a Zilart could tell the difference. The most noticable differences are firstly the markings that cover one side of the Zilart's body that glows each time they use magic. Some have very little markings such as a single shape on the cheek, whilst some are completely coating in intricate patterns over one side. The other is that they often wear eye patches, this is to hide that whilst they possess one normal Hume-like eye, the other has the appearance of being damaged. This other eye socket looks to be horribly burned, and the eye itself being purple in males, or light pink in females. These changes are from the curse that seperates the Hume.

Bio:

The Zilart as a race are exceptionally new to the world. Whilst physically, if their natural magics are removed, the Zilart of identical to the Hume, it is this magical intrusion. Shortly after the Dark Voice appeared, a division of Hume went on to research the raw magical energy that ate at the mountain, and through their research mastered manipulating this very magic. The Hume in charge at the time forbade this research, and after they continued, the whole group were arrested and found guilty as traitors. They whole clan of Hume were branded with magical marks on their faces. This same mark was found to be passed genetically, thus forever marking the offspring of these first Zilart. This granted them powerful magics from the initial research, at the cost of having the magic sustaining their life force, making them a physically weak race from then on. This often puts them in allegience with the Yuke for their shared magic strengths, however they are not as adept at the learning, nor can they utilise glyphs.

Personal Class:

A Zilart at the peek of their magical prowess are able to construct themselves armour which they can infuse their magical powers in. Whilst wearing this armour, their magic powers are drastically increased, however they are limited to a single element, and are less effected by the Zilart Curse.
